I think it is fantastic that there are so many opportunities to get free online insurance quotes. If I go in to a branch or talk to someone about getting a quote, I often feel obliged to buy from them, especially if they are really helpful. I know that this is really silly and I should go for the best deal for me, but I tend to be kind hearted and think that if someone has gone to a lot of trouble for me, finding out the various information and coming up with a price, then I should let them have the commission that they have earned. By doing it on line it means that I do not feel obliged to buy because it is the computer that has done the work and I owe them nothing! So by getting online quotes I should be able to save myself a lot of money. I have a lot of time on my hands and so I will have plenty of time to explore all of the options and find the best deal for me, although I am concerned about going for a price that is too cheap in case they do not offer me the protection that I need.
