I have just found a really great website which sells lots of different kid games. I am always looking for original gift ideas for my nieces and nephews and as they have so many toys it can be really hard to find them something that they have not already got. However, this website has so many fantastic ideas that I am sure I will easily be able to find them something really good. It has arts and crafts, imaginative play, dressing up clothes, games, soft toys, dolls, videos, computer games and outdoor toys. Everything that you could possibly need to keep little ones happy and amused and lots of original ideas as well. I was rather taken with the game tables as I thought that they would be really useful, but I am not sure how much space they would take up. I am considering getting them something like a big trampoline for their garden as they have a lot of space and I am sure they would really like it. I am sure that their mother would not mind as they already have a lot of outdoor toys in tehir garden so I am sure another one will not matter.
My friend has just bought herself the most amazing pair of designer sunglasses. I have always liked sunglasses, but because I wear prescription glasses, I have only ever owned one pair. I find that it is too expensive to have two pairs of glasses all of the time. It can also be a bit annoying having to change them when you go inside and out - especially when you are shopping. I also do not like wearing them when I am driving as if you go into the shade you cannot see and if you take them off you still cannot see! We have decided to go and look at some designer handbags this afternoon because that is a piece of designer gear that I can afford. I love handbags anyway and so I am really looking forward to taking a look at these great ones and being able to choose that really special accessory for me. I think we will have great fun doing it together too as we have not been out shopping with each other for ages. My friend has been telling me about this vacaton that he has just booked for himself. hearing about it almost makes me want to cancel my holiday and do one like his instead! He is going to Russia to learn how to fly a mig 29 jet. That is right, he really is going to do that. Once he has had some practices and training he will actually get to fly a fly mig fighter. I cannot believe that they trust people like him to do this but obviously they must think they are well protected. He just cannot wait to start his flight training L-39 so that he can get in the air and feel what it is like to control his own plane in the air. It is as close to flying his own plane as he is ever likely to get but I expect, knowing him, he will be imagining that he is a pop star flying his own private jet around!
I am away this weekend, well just staying overnight with my parents so that they can babysit for the evening while I go out for a meal with my husband. It should be really good as I have not been out with him, for a date for years and although it is not a special birthday, I have not had a treat for long time and have been working really hard lately so thought it would be a nice break. Thinking about what to pack has reminded me about how nasty my luggage is. I really hate the brown bag which is ripped and never quite big enough. I keep telling myself that I will buy all the family nice new overnight bags sometime, but never seem to get round to it. I have been invited to a lunch party at the weekend and I am really looking forward to it. It is at my parents house and my cousin will be there with his wife and child and I haven’t met them yet.
